At White Rose Farms Ltd, a subsidiary of Cranswick, we are a leading player in the UK's agricultural sector, specialising in pig farming. We are seeking a keen individual to join our team as a Pig Stockperson at our farms in the Brigg area. Our farms are high health units within our growing and finishing operation. Join us in our mission to set new benchmarks in the farming industry while providing delicious, responsibly sourced pork products for all to enjoy. This is a great opportunity for the right person to join our fast-paced, ever-growing business with a bright future.

Job Responsibility:

  • Engage in hands-on care for pigs in an indoor unit, ensuring their health and well-being standards are not just met, but exceeded
  • Complete daily tasks such as feeding, vaccinating, moving, and handling the livestock
  • Load and unload pigs as needed
  • Play a key role in maintaining the condition and appearance of our farm, creating a welcoming environment for both animals and visitors
  • Operate state-of-the-art farm machinery, adding a technological edge to your daily tasks

Requirements:

  • Experience with livestock or an agricultural background would be advantageous, but not essential
  • Ability to prioritise and complete tasks fully with strong attention to detail is a must
  • Self-motivated, possess a strong work ethic, and strive to go above and beyond expectations
