Job Responsibility:

  • Supervise and manage the pickling process of Stainless steel pipes/ Hollows, including preparation and maintenance of pickling solutions (e.g., acids, inhibitors, etc.)
  • Ensure that pickling baths are maintained and replenished as per standard operating procedures
  • Monitor chemical concentrations and ensure adherence to product specifications as per SOP
  • Implement corrective actions when deviations in the pickling process are detected
  • Ensure that all pickling operations comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations
  • Maintain chemical safety data sheets (MSDS) and ensure proper storage and handling of hazardous materials
  • Safety work environment create and motivate team to continue-aim for zero accidents
  • Motivate workman to achieve highest standard of Quality
  • Motivate workers to function in a team & achieve higher level of Productivity
  • Follow the ISO 9001 system for all the product/production related activity
  • Follow the EHS and related activity
  • Maintain disciplined working environment within the section
  • Collaborate with engineers and production managers to continuously improve pickling efficiency and minimize waste
  • Conduct research and recommend process adjustments to enhance pickling performance and reduce costs
  • Provide regular reports to management on process performance, safety, and compliance
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to pickling performance or quality
  • Maintain 5S standard at highest level in the Finishing section and encourage team
  • Implementation of TPM, Involvement in Kizen and small improvement in section
  • Carry out activities to demonstrate EHS leadership and act as a role model
  • Communicate and promote the Alleima EHS Policy and Safety Principles
  • Report on Hazard & Near miss related to Environment Health & Safety
  • Systematically monitor and continuously improve EHS performance in their area of responsibility
  • Follow EHS guidelines and procedures, reporting hazards and potential improvement areas and participating to improve their work environment
  • Authorized for PPC entry of hot flow finishing machines
  • Authorized for manpower allocation on required workstation
  • Authorized for Job allocation to work men
  • Authorized for give approval to issue required material from store
  • Authorized for making Job work challan for subcontract

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in Stainless steel tube finishing, pickling
  • Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Chemistry or related field
