Job Description:

This role involves retrieving, packing, and shipping items in a warehouse environment. Responsibilities include maintaining inventory accuracy, adhering to safety protocols, and working in collaboration with the team to ensure efficient operations.

Job Responsibility:

Retrieve items from designated shelves and bins according to pick lists or order instructions
Ensure accuracy in picking and match items with order details
Verify product quality and quantity before packing
Properly pack orders into boxes or containers, ensuring products are protected during transit
Label boxes with the correct shipping information, including the customer address and order number
Organize packed orders for staging or shipping
Assist in regular stock checks and inventory audits to ensure accurate stock levels
Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory, damaged goods, or stock shortages to the supervisor
Ensure that all orders are processed and ready for shipment within the designated time frame
Organize packed orders by shipment method or destination
Adhere to all safety protocols and operational guidelines
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including warehouse shelves and workstations
Assist with maintaining proper inventory storage and handling procedures
Work closely with other warehouse team members to ensure timely and accurate order processing
Communicate effectively with team leads, supervisors, and other warehouse staff to meet deadlines

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in warehouse operations or a similar role is a plus, but not required
Attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing orders
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Basic math and organizational skills
Good physical stamina to lift and move boxes and products
Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks (training may be provided)
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time
