Job Description

Are you looking for the ideal stepping stone to launch your warehouse career? Do you live in Pointe-Claire or the surrounding West Island area? Would you love to work in a calm, pleasant, and friendly environment? We are currently seeking a Order Picker (Warehouse Clerk) for our modern distribution center located in Pointe-Claire. Working closely with the shipping and receiving team, you will play a key role in preparing orders for customers in the stable and essential pharmaceutical sector. The Best Part: Hate heavy lifting? No problem! Here, our heaviest boxes never exceed 15 lbs. Status: Permanent position from day one! Wage: Between $22.00/hr and $23.00/hr depending on experience. The Dream Schedule: Stable day shift, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Job Responsibility

  • Pick customer orders using the computer system according to established procedures and pack them carefully (boxes, tape, pallets)
  • Put away incoming goods in their designated sections while performing strict inventory rotation
  • Unload delivery trucks, verify incoming shipments against receiving slips, and wrap pallets and boxes securely
  • Operate manual or electric pallet jacks (jiggers) and drive the forklift (if certified/qualified)
  • Take daily warehouse temperature readings and maintain a clean, organized workspace (sweeping, emptying bins, recycling)

Requirements

  • Prior experience in order picking or warehouse operations (shipping/receiving experience is a great bonus)
  • Previous experience within the pharmaceutical industry is a very strong plus
  • Experience and a valid forklift certification are considered a fantastic bonus
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High level of autonomy and efficiency
  • Ability to use technology (scanners/computers)
  • Safely operate a manual/electric pallet jack

Nice to have

  • Shipping/receiving experience
  • Previous experience within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Valid forklift certification
