Job Description

We are currently recruiting for Manufacturing Operatives to join a busy production and logistics environment based in Horsham. This role involves handling, packaging and preparing products for dispatch while ensuring high standards of quality, accuracy and safety are maintained at all times. 3-Month fixed term contract. Potential to go permanent for the right person.

Job Responsibility

  • Picking, packing and preparing orders for shipment
  • Receiving and storing deliveries in the correct locations
  • Updating stock and inventory systems accurately
  • Following production instructions and packaging specifications
  • Cleaning and preparing work areas and equipment
  • Completing documentation and records to required standards
  • Carrying out stock checks and inventory counts
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with company procedures
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
  • Reporting any safety concerns, incidents or damaged stock
  • Supporting other departments when required

Requirements

  • Reliable and motivated individual with a strong work ethic

  • Able to work in chilled, ambient and frozen environments when required

  • Ability to safely handle manual tasks and lifting
  • Comfortable working in cold storage environments
  • Ability to follow procedures and safety guidelines accurately
