This position involves working within a high-volume third-party logistics (3PL) facility dedicated to a major car brand. The role requires precision and care in handling automotive parts and accessories to ensure seamless supply chain operations for dealerships and customers.
Job Responsibility:
Order Picking: Accurately selecting automotive parts ranging from small components to large body panels using RF scanning technology
Packing and Dispatch: Consolidating orders and utilising protective packaging techniques to ensure high-value car parts are not damaged during transit
Quality Assurance: Verifying part numbers against digital pick slips to maintain the inventory integrity required by a premium automotive brand
Stock Maintenance: Assisting with replenishment, bin transfers, and periodic cycle counting to ensure 100% stock accuracy
Inbound Operations: Receiving and destuffing containers, palletizing goods, and safely putting away stock into designated racking areas
Safety and Compliance: Strictly adhering to WHS (Work Health and Safety) standards, including the correct handling of bulky items and potential dangerous goods like oils or batteries
Requirements:
Previous experience in a warehouse or 3PL environment, ideally within the automotive or industrial sector
Proficiency in using RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
High level of physical fitness and the ability to perform repetitive lifting and manual handling tasks
Strong attention to detail to differentiate between complex part codes and numbers
Reliability and punctuality to meet strict daily dispatch deadlines
