Job Description

Montefiore has a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our Physiotherapy Department in Randwick for a fixed term contract to cover leave. The role is a key member of a large physiotherapy and wider allied health team. The wellness centre is fully equipped to support treatment and rehabilitation, including Hydrotherapy facilities and state of the art HUR gym equipment. The role will largely be based within our dementia specific unit.

Job Responsibility

Co-ordination and provision of care and support for consumers in their pain, falls prevention management, rehabilitation, and physical mobility care needs

Requirements

  • AHPRA registration
  • Genuine interest in working in an aged care environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Excellent clinical capabilities and judgement
  • Experience working with people living with dementia
  • Interest in working within a dementia specific unit
  • Ability to maintain high quality professional documentation for care planning, assessment, and treatment
  • Ability to ensure treatment goals and plans are regularly evaluated using accepted outcome measurement tools
