Physiotherapist

• Work within the Mission and Mission in Action of HammondCare to ensure a high standard of Physiotherapy service is provided to patients of the hospital
• appropriate support and advice to patients’ carers
• participate as a member of the multidisciplinary team in assessing patients’ level of functional mobility and care needs
• set care goals and provide appropriate treatment

• A tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and registration as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA
• significant practical experience or extensive knowledge in providing Physiotherapy services in a Rehabilitation, Aged Care or Palliative Care setting
• experience across inpatient and outpatient/community settings would be desirable
• a current driver’s licence and safe driving record and willingness to travel between HammondCare’s sites
• effective communication and interpersonal skills
• demonstrated organisation and time management skills
• ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• empathy and patience
