Physiotherapist

• Working as an integrated member of the multi-disciplinary team in the Hospice and in the community
• Based at our Yeovil Hub supporting patients in the outpatient, Day Centre setting and in their own homes
• Service for palliative patients at all stages of their journey from diagnosis to end stage disease, offering preventative, restorative, supportive and palliative rehabilitation and intervention

• Physiotherapist qualification
• Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) Registration
• Demonstrable experience in a variety of clinical settings and relevant transferrable skills
• A holistic approach to patient care
• An ability to contribute to the evaluation and development of services
• Access to own transport is required to travel with equipment across the locality during a normal working day

Palliative and end of life experience is desirable

• 33 days holiday including bank holidays rising to 35 days after 1 year, and increasing with length of service (pro-rata if part-time)
• Recognise continuous service for clinical staff paid at band 5+ who join directly from the NHS or another hospice
