Physiotherapist

• Develops, implements, and evaluates individually designed programs of intervention to address physical and motor needs
• Supports recommendations for related assistive technology, educational, vocational, and recreational recommendations for children and youth with physical disabilities and/or delays in motor development
• Helps children and youth meet developmental milestones, minimize physical and motor challenges, and improve success in mobility and community participation
• Provides quality assessment and intervention services using culturally inclusive and trauma informed practices
• Brings humanity, support, and guidance to families in need
• Addresses complex community needs, including the use of remote service delivery technologies

• Successful completion of an entry-to-practice physiotherapy program
• Registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC
• Clear Criminal Record Review
• Ability to use standard office and communication technologies and learn new applications
• Physical ability to meet job requirements
• Class 5 driver's license, clear driver's abstract and daily access to and use of vehicle

Prior experience in pediatric PT service delivery and supervision of a Rehabilitation or Therapy Assistant
