We are looking for an enthusiastic Grade 2 Physiotherapist to join our Cardiorespiratory team with opportunities to rotate across the acute settings. Our Grade 2 Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapists rotate through multiple clinical areas at Footscray and Sunshine Hospitals, giving you the opportunity develop and refine your cardiorespiratory skills across a variety of clinical caseloads and complex patient cohorts. Rotations involve intensive care, special and general medicine, short stay unit, surgical, respiratory and oncology, as well as radiotherapy outpatients. These are well-supported positions and provide opportunity for training and development of your clinical, supervision and leadership skills, joining a team that is dedicated to evidence-based practice and continuous improvement.
Job Responsibility:
Rotate through multiple clinical areas at Footscray and Sunshine Hospitals
Develop and refine cardiorespiratory skills across a variety of clinical caseloads and complex patient cohorts
Participate in Research and Quality program
Contribute to stream portfolios and department committees
Requirements:
Well-developed acute and cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy clinical skills
Experience in supervising staff and students
Eager to build experience across the continuum of care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with Physiotherapy and interdisciplinary teams
