Roseway Manor is a 66-bed long-term care home located in Shelburne, Nova Scotia, on a quiet residential street. We are proud to provide compassionate, person-centered care in a close-knit community environment where Residents feel at home. Operating under MacLeod Group Health Services Limited (MGHSL), we are committed to creating a positive, supportive workplace where team members grow, lead, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of Residents and their families. Roseway Manor is currently seeking a youth between the ages of 15 and 30 to fulfill the role of physiotherapy assistant for 8 weeks.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist with the mobility program
  • Assist residents with daily walks
  • Facilitate fitness and exercise classes for the elderly
  • Documentation for each resident in progress notes
  • Assist PT/OT as it pertains to mobility equipment
  • wheelchairs, walkers, devices

Requirements:

  • Must be between the age of 15 & 30
  • Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent residents, or person conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Act for the duration of the employment
  • Must have a valid Social Insurance Number and be legally entitled to work in Canada
