Physiotherapist – Inpatient (Bank)

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with a variety of musculoskeletal, neurological, respiratory, orthopaedic, or post-surgical conditions
• Formulate individualised treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals
• Use a range of therapeutic techniques, exercise programmes, manual therapy, and patient education to promote recovery and prevent further injury or deterioration
• Collaborate closely with consultants, nurses, occupational therapists, and other allied health professionals to ensure coordinated care
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, ward rounds, and discharge planning as appropriate
• Refer patients to other services where required (e.g., hydrotherapy, pain management, or community rehabilitation)
• Manage your own caseload efficiently, working flexibly across inpatient and/or outpatient settings as required

• BSc (Hons) or MSc in Physiotherapy (or equivalent qualification)
• HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist
• Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)
• Strong understanding of clinical reasoning, assessment techniques, and evidence-based practice
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
• Time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
