Job Description:

Established in 1995, this school offers an adapted version of an American curriculum from KG to Grade 12, serving a mostly Kuwaiti student body (95%) with an international curriculum and a good mix of international and local teaching staff. The school is divided into four sections: Early Years, Elementary (Grades 1-5), Middle School (Grades 6-8), and High School (Grades 9-12). Specialist teachers for non-core subjects are provided for KG and the Elementary Department. The school's mission is to provide high-quality international education while preserving and promoting Kuwaiti values and traditions. This program is implemented by highly qualified, highly motivated teachers. High expectations of academic and behavioral standards are maintained, and creativity is promoted for students, enabling them to study internationally and become successful 21st-century adults.

Job Responsibility:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons based on the US curriculum
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student development
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support growth
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to ensure student success
Participate in school events, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions
Support extracurricular activities and contribute to the school community

Requirements:

Bachelor of Education in curriculum subject with a postgraduate certificate in teaching (Primary teachers)
A first degree and a teaching certificate that matches their subject (Secondary teachers)
Strong newly qualified teachers with 2 years teaching experience will be considered
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
Enthusiasm for fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment
