Physics Teacher

• Teach Physics across MYP and DP following IB expectations and inquiry-based pedagogy
• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that develop conceptual understanding and scientific thinking
• Support students with subject choices, DP pathways, and exam preparation
• Develop and contribute to science curriculum planning and vertical alignment
• Maintain a safe, well-organised, and stimulating laboratory environment
• Use data and formative assessment to inform teaching and support student progress
• Collaborate with colleagues across the science team and wider school
• Participate in school events, enrichment activities, and professional development

• A recognised teaching qualification and a degree in Physics or a related field
• Experience teaching Physics at MYP and DP level (IB experience strongly preferred)
• Strong subject expertise and confidence with practical science and lab work
• The ability to differentiate effectively and support a range of learner needs
• Excellent communication, organisation, and collaborative skills
• A commitment to professional growth and wider school contribution
