Job Description:

A-Level Physics Lecturer - Benfleet. We are representing a leading Sixth Form & FE College in Benfleet that is seeking a dedicated Physics Specialist. This isn't a traditional secondary school environment; it's a vibrant, young-adult campus where the focus is entirely on Post-16 excellence. If you are passionate about A-Level Physics and want to help students bridge the gap between school and university, this is the perfect role for you.

Job Responsibility:

  • Subject Expertise: Deliver high-quality A-Level Physics and contribute to Applied Science BTEC pathways
  • University Preparation: Mentor students through their UCAS applications and prepare them for degrees in Engineering, Physics, and STEM
  • Practical Innovation: Use advanced lab equipment to bring complex concepts like astrophysics and particle physics to life
  • Engagement: Use your industry knowledge or academic passion to make Science relevant to the modern world

Requirements:

  • Teaching Qualification: QTS, QTLS, or a recognized FE teaching qualification
  • Degree in Physics: A strong academic background in a related field is essential
  • 16-19 Passion: An understanding of the Post-16 curriculum and the ability to inspire young adults
  • Commitment: A focus on high achievement and student progression
