The Department of Radiation Oncology at The University of Kansas Cancer Center and the University of Kansas Health System is seeking outstanding medical physicists to join our faculty at our Olathe Location. This opportunity environment provides access to advanced technology, collaborative multidisciplinary teams, and the support of a nationally recognized NCI-designated cancer center.

Requirements:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Medical Physics or a related field
  • CAMPEP-accredited residency program in medical physics
  • Board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) in Therapeutic Medical Physics

  • Assumes proficiency in image registration with various image data sets, including CT, MRI and PET
  • Actively discusses the design of the treatment plan with the radiation oncologist and medical physicist
