Job Description

Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG) is seeking to employ a Vascular Neurologist to join its well-established program at its Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute (MNI), part of Baptist Health Brain & Spine Care. The team, which includes over two dozen physicians across eight locations, perform over 1,500 surgeries each year, and offers more than 30 clinical research studies, includes experts in a wide range of specialties, including neurosurgery, nonsurgical spine care and pain management, neuroradiology, interventional neuroradiology, neuro-oncology, radiation oncology and neurology.

Job Responsibility

  • Managing stroke calls
  • Stroke prevention clinic
  • Providing acute inpatient stroke consultation
  • Collaborating with neurointerventional and ICU teams
  • Focus on quality, excellent patient-centered care
  • Exhibit professional demeanor
  • Promote collaboration in a multidisciplinary team environment

Requirements

  • MD/DO from an accredited institution
  • Active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date)
  • Satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)
  • Fellowship-trained in Vascular Neurology
