Job Description:

Is the providers' main point of contact for issues and training and will oversee the training of new providers, training of new initiatives, as well as working with analysts and technical teams for testing and issues resolution related to providers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Main point of contact for Physicians and Advanced Practice Provider staff
  • User Provisioning of Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers
  • Ability to understand provider workflows and assist analysts with building and testing, as well as suggesting improvement in workflow
  • Comfortable with actively soliciting feedback from providers on projections, documentation, and workflow
  • Create and maintain working relationships with the Medical Staff Office and Physician Liaison to promote open communication and opportunity for improvements
  • Enrollment management of Electronic Prescriptions Controlled Substances including Imprivata and Sunrise applications
  • Understand workflows, functions and applications used by provider staff
  • Develop training materials, tips and tricks information
  • Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree Nursing or Educational Technology or related field OR General Educational Development with clinical licensure OR Associates Degree with clinical licensure
  • 2 or more years healthcare experience
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Microsoft office Suite
  • EMR knowledge for provider workflows, Allscripts preferred

Nice to have:

  • Master Degree Nursing or Educational Technology or related field
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (LRN) - Single State - State Board of Nursing
  • Informatics Certification

  • Contact physician offices in-person or via phone, fax, secure email, Provider portal, or other approved communication channels to obtain necessary documents
  • Build productive working relationships with office staff, referral coordinators, medical assistants, and practice administrators
  • Follow up persistently and professionally until requests are resolved
  • Maintain awareness of each office’s preferred workflows and communication methods
