Job Description

Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG), part of Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF), the largest healthcare organization in the South Florida region with medical practices spanning from Key West to Palm Beach, is seeking to employ a Sleep Medicine physician to join its rapidly growing multidisciplinary sleep medicine program at its Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute, part of Baptist Health Brain & Spine Care. The team, which includes over two dozen physicians across eight locations, perform over 1,500 surgeries each year, and offers more than 30 clinical research studies, includes experts in a wide range of specialties, including neurosurgery, nonsurgical spine care and pain management, neuroradiology, interventional neuroradiology, neuro-oncology, radiation oncology and neurology. Full-Time Opportunity (Job ID: FY26-MIA-BSC-18). The Miami Neuroscience Institute has recently completed plans for a new five-story building to house outpatient programs scheduled for occupancy in 2028. Academically affiliated with Florida International University (FIU) and Florida Atlantic University (FAU), BHSF has been teaching residents at FAU since 2018, and most recently launched a 16-resident neurology program at FIU in 2025. Requirements

  • MD/DO from an accredited institution
  • active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date)
  • satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing
  • must have completed an ACGME-accredited residency
  • must have completed a Sleep Medicine fellowship
  • must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Sleep Medicine by the American Board of Sleep Medicine
