The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, is seeking a full-time Gynecologic Oncologist who will join the team and support the departmental mission of delivering the highest quality of care, as well as satisfying teaching, research, and academic responsibilities at the region's quaternary referral center.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain a gynecologic oncology practice
Write referral letters and documentation for patient records as appropriate
The patient-care duties will involve training of medical students, residents and fellows
Provide lectures to faculty, fellows, residents and students
Initiate and participate in research studies, as well as quality improvement programs related to the specialty of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the subspecialty of Gynecologic Oncology
Participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of the institution
An essential part of these duties will be working in a collegial relationship with other faculty members
Requirements:
MD degree from an accredited medical school
Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Completion of ACGME- accredited Fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology
Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri
Experience in gynecologic oncology with experience in minimally invasive surgery highly desired
