PHYSICIANS: Not sure if you’re interested in a full-time hospitalist role or a post-acute attending position? Now you don’t have to choose! We’re offering an innovative hybrid model that offers the right candidate the opportunity to practice in both settings. Join our acute and post-acute team in Southern Maryland and enjoy an excellent compensation package, including a competitive base salary and quality and RVU bonuses!

Job Responsibility:

  • Spend roughly 50% of time as a member of the hospitalist team at Charles Regional Medical Center in LaPlata, Maryland, responsible for admitting patients, performing physical exams, ordering tests, diagnosing, performing hospital rounds, and planning for discharge.
  • Spend the other half of time serving as an attending physician across several skilled nursing facility clients in Southern Maryland, performing exams and developing treatment plans, adhering to Adfinitas and facility’s policies and procedures, facilitating patient’s transition within and between healthcare settings, and collaborating with multidisciplinary team members.

Requirements:

  • Board eligible/Board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills, including use of email, are necessary in dealing with a variety of healthcare professionals, Adfinitas colleagues, family members, and patients.
  • Team oriented attitude toward patient care.
  • Demonstrate commitment to Adfinitas core values – Quality Care, Willingness To Do, Maintaining Personal Connections, and Teamwork.
  • Demonstrate commitment to high ethical standards and healthcare compliance.
  • Skill in diagnosing and treating diseases.
