Job Description

Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG) is seeking to employ a Headache Neurologist to join its well-established program at its Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute, part of Baptist Health Brain & Spine Care. The team includes over two dozen physicians across eight locations, perform over 1,500 surgeries each year, and offers more than 30 clinical research studies, includes experts in a wide range of specialties. Academically affiliated with Florida International University (FIU) and Florida Atlantic University (FAU).

Job Responsibility

  • Management, diagnoses and treatment of complex headache and facial pain disorders
  • Performing interventional procedures
  • Participating in interdisciplinary care and research
  • Focus on quality, excellent patient-centered care

  • Promote collaboration in a multidisciplinary team environment

Requirements

  • MD/DO from an accredited institution
  • Active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date)
  • Satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)
  • Fellowship-trained in Headache Medicine and certified by the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties (UCNS)
  • Additional certification by the American Board of Headache Medicine welcomed but not required
