Job Description:

Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking to employ a Gastroenterologist to join a multi-specialty ambulatory practice located in the beautiful Florida Keys. This role provides an opportunity to serve a vital and close-knit community while being supported by resources, clinical excellence, and the reputation of a leading healthcare system, while making a meaningful impact on patient care in a unique coastal setting.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide outpatient-based gastroenterology services
  • perform endoscopic procedures in accordance with hospital privileges
  • serve the community in a unique coastal setting
  • join a multidisciplinary team environment

Requirements:

  • MD/DO from an accredited institution
  • active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date)
  • satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA)
  • fellowship training in Gastroenterology
  • demonstrated ability and expertise in EGDs, colonoscopies, and ERCPs
  • background in functional GI disorders
  • ability to manage preventive GI care including colorectal cancer screenings
  • ability to offer diagnostic and therapeutic gastroenterology services
  • focus on quality, excellent patient-centered care
  • exhibit professional demeanor
  • promote collaboration in a multidisciplinary team environment
