Job Description

St. Anthony Hospital is looking for Urgent December coverage with their Gastroenterology team. Site requires ERCP and EUS to be considered. Details: 24 hour call – 7a-7a; 5-7 days per month, ongoing into 2025. Setting: Inpatient; Level 1 Trauma; Required Procedures/Job duties: Scoping, ERCP, EUS, Endoscopy, GI Bleed, Evaluation of GI problems. EMR: EPIC; Support Staff: None; Reason for coverage: Gaps in coverage.

Job Responsibility

  • 24 hour call – 7a-7a

  • Perform endoscopic procedures to diagnose and treat digestive conditions (depending on the scope of practice)
  • Develop and implement treatment plans
  • Manage chronic digestive conditions and provide ongoing patient care
  • Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists and other specialists when needed to ensure coordinated care
  • Educate patients on digestive health and disease prevention
  • Maintain accurate and complete medical records for all patients
  • Stay current on the latest advancements in gastroenterology through continuing education
