Job Description:

The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Family Medicine, is seeking an experienced Family Medicine Hospitalist to join our growing inpatient team. This position offers the opportunity to practice broad-spectrum, high-quality hospital medicine within a nationally recognized academic health system committed to excellence in clinical care, education, and research.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide inpatient care to adult and select pediatric patients in a collaborative, team-based environment
  • Work alongside Family Medicine faculty and residents
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and help shape clinical workflows for optimal patient outcomes
  • Teaching opportunities available for medical students and residents

Requirements:

  • MD, DO or equivalent
  • Board certified/board eligible in Family Medicine
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Kansas

Nice to have:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an academic environment
  • Strong teaching and leadership skills
