Job Responsibility:

  • Providing comprehensive healthcare services to patients in Pediatric Otolaryngology
  • Obtaining comprehensive patient histories and performing physical exams for both new and return patients
  • Performing pre-operative, post operative and urgent ORL evaluations in the ORL clinic
  • Assisting with procedures both in the clinic setting and in the operating room
  • Participates in multidisciplinary clinics and communicate effectively with all members of the team
  • Ordering necessary diagnostic tests, consultations and procedures and issuing appropriate prescriptions/medications
  • Actively participating in Department of ORL educational meetings and conferences
  • Participating in research project opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Master of Physician Assistant Studies
  • Previous OR experience is preferred
  • Prior Otolaryngology/Pediatric experience strongly preferred
  • New grad PAs will be considered
  • A current license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to practice as a Physician Assistant.
