Job Description:

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Physical Therapy Assistant to our Outpatient Rehab Department in the Southside area of Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time position at our Baptist Seven Pines Outpatient Clinic working weekdays with flexible scheduling. No weekend requirements. We are looking to add a Physical Therapy Assistant to our adult outpatient team. Caseload includes various diagnoses - neurological, orthopedic, cardiac, and general medical.

Job Responsibility:

Under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, provides physical therapy services to patients, as prescribed by the attending physician, in order to help improve or restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease, or physical disability
Participates in departmental operations and in performance improvement activities
Responsible for remaining within budget guidelines
Participate in mandatory education and licensure requirements

Requirements:

Associate's Degree
1-2 years Experience as Physical Therapy Assistant
Active BLS from the American Heart Association
Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant from the FL Department of Health

Nice to have:

Bachelor's Degree
General Outpatient Rehab Experience
