In this role as a Physical Therapist (PT), you will be responsible for a continuum of services providing care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic and other physically-related disorders requiring mobility training, strengthening, modalities, specialized manual therapy and neuromuscular reeducation. As a Physical Therapist you will also utilizes rehab process to promote and restore optimal health and well-being of the patient. While in this position you will assume personal accountability for organizational mission and core values. We are currently seeking a PRN associate for our inpatient acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule, as this role provides essential coverage for the acute inpatient department during staff vacations and unplanned absences.

Job Responsibility:

Responsible for a continuum of services providing care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic and other physically-related disorders requiring mobility training, strengthening, modalities, specialized manual therapy and neuromuscular reeducation
Utilizes rehab process to promote and restore optimal health and well-being of the patient
Assume personal accountability for organizational mission and core values
Provides essential coverage for the acute inpatient department during staff vacations and unplanned absences

Requirements:

Previous work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient or inpatient rehab unit preferred
Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR), preferred
Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy required
Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy, preferred
Current Colorado state licensure as a Physical Therapist required
BLS through the American Heart Association required
Dry Needling Certification or Education preferred
Physical Requirements-Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly

Nice to have:

Dry Needling Certification or Education
Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
Previous work experience providing direct patient care
Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR)
