Job Description:

As our Acute Care Physical Therapist at Lakeside, you will help patients rebuild or maintain their physical wellbeing so they can function at their best level, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform initial evaluations
  • develop and update individualized plans of care
  • provide a variety of direct treatments
  • consistently meet patient care productivity standards
  • collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and families
  • promote a positive customer service environment
  • provide physical therapy assessment, care planning, patient treatment and education according to professional practice guidelines
  • work as a collaborative team member to develop a coordinated care plan
  • complete all required documentation and billing requirements according to local, state and federal law
  • apply measurable quality metrics
  • provide supervision to physical therapy assistants and techs
  • stay current with evidenced based practice guidelines and serve as a professional resource

Requirements:

  • Active physical therapy license in the State of Nebraska
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
