Job Description:

Help patients rebuild or maintain their physical wellbeing so they can function at their best level, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life.

Job Responsibility:

Perform initial evaluations, develop and update individualized plans of care, and provide a variety of direct treatments
Meet patient care productivity standards
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and families
Promote a positive customer service environment
Develop and update appropriate plan of care in collaboration with the patient/family
Perform age appropriate competency skills in area of practice
Follow intervention protocols and alter plan of care appropriately
Discharge patient when goals have been met or medical necessity is no longer warrants intervention
Work cooperatively with supervisors and peers to contribute to the overall productivity of the team
Utilize support personnel as appropriate and available
Support patient coverage efforts across all divisions within the department as necessary
Complete all necessary documentation as outlined by departmental policy
Utilize available information management systems to support departmental and hospital goals

Requirements:

Degree in Physical Therapy and Graduates eligible for licensure will be considered, upon hire
Physical Therapist: TX, upon hire
Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - days
