Physical Therapists (PT) are health care professionals who diagnose and treat individuals of all ages who have medical problems or other health-related conditions that limit their abilities to move and perform functional activities. PTs examine individuals and develop plans using treatment techniques to promote movement, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. They work in various settings including hospitals, private practices, outpatient clinics, home health agencies, schools, and nursing homes.

Diagnose and manage movement dysfunction
Enhance physical and functional abilities
Restore, maintain, and promote optimal physical function and wellness
Prevent onset and progression of impairments and disabilities
Examine patients including history, systems review, and tests
Develop and implement treatment plans and discharge plans
Provide interventions and modify as needed
Requirements:
Must have current, unrestricted license in state of practice
