Job Description:

Help patients rebuild or maintain their physical wellbeing so they can function at their best level, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life.

Job Responsibility:

Perform initial evaluations
Develop and update individualized plans of care
Provide a variety of direct treatments
Consistently meet patient care productivity standards
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and families
Promote a positive customer service environment
Be a role model for the Hospital's Patient Satisfaction effort (demonstrates AIDET principles)
Perform patient evaluations appropriately and competently
Coordinate with the physician to establish a reasonable and necessary treatment plan
Demonstrate competency in the use of equipment
Perform patient procedures and treatments appropriately and competently
Update the treatment/rehab program, goals, and objectives in collaboration with team members
Promote the discharge planning process

Requirements:

High School Graduate or GED
Physical Therapist: CA
AHA Basic Life Support - CPR
