Job Description:

Baptist Medical Center is currently looking to add a Physical Therapist to our Acute Care Team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a PRN opportunity at our Baptist Beaches campus. We are looking to add an experienced Physical Therapist to our acute care team. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in acute care, neuro and ortho.

Job Responsibility:

Evaluate, plan, direct, and administer physical therapy treatment to patients in the acute care setting
Provide patient care to help improve or restore function and prevent disability
Oversee support staff
Participate in departmental operations and in performance improvement activities
Maintaining within budget guidelines
Participate in mandatory education and licensure requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree
1 year Experience working in an Acute Care setting strongly preferred
Orthopedics
Medical Surgical Nursing Experience
Neuro Experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
Licensed Physical Therapist Required

Nice to have:

Master's Degree
