This is a full time 40 hour per week position Monday through Friday with some 1/2 day Saturday clinic coverage that is split between all the providers. (everyone typically ends up working 5-6 Saturdays per year. They are 4 hour shifts from 8:00am to 12pm with 1 eval and 4 treats). Position Highlights: Location: High Point, North Carolina; Full Time; Relocation Assistance: Up to $7,500 in Relocation Assistance (for qualified candidates).
Job Responsibility:
Provides patient care assessment and treatment
Ensures patient evaluations and treatments are comprehensive, functional and according to the Standard of Practice
Maintains accurate patient documentation
Meets department financial and productivity standards
Participates in process management to optimize quality and efficiency of services
Promotes professional development and education of other health care workers and provides representation on committees
Supervises physical therapy and physical therapy assistant students
Communicates in a professional and timely manner with patients, physicians, staff, and all external customers
Provides appropriate patient care in accordance with age/developmental guidelines
Adheres to the general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment
Requirements:
Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in the State of North Carolina with current licensation
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited physical therapy school required
CPR certification required every two years
Active member of APTA encouraged, but not required
