Job Description

Baptist Medical Center is hiring a Physical Therapist to our Adult Outpatient Rehab Team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a PRN, day shift (no weekends) opportunity at our Baptist Mandarin Outpatient Rehab Clinic. We are looking to hire an experienced Physical Therapist to join our team. This PRN position will work with an adult caseload at our outpatient clinic providing lymphedema treatments and care for cancer patients. The ideal candidate will have CLT credentials and at least 1 year of recent Lymphedema experience.

Job Responsibility

  • Evaluate, plan, direct, and administer physical therapy treatment to patients
  • Provide patient care to help improve or restore function and prevent disability following injury or disease
  • Oversee support staff
  • Participate in departmental operations and performance improvement activities
  • Responsible for remaining within budget guidelines
  • Participate in mandatory education and licensure requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Physical Therapy Required
  • Licensed Physical Therapist from FL Department of Health Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association Required
  • Lymphedema Experience strongly preferred
  • Wound Care Experience
  • Medical Surgical Nursing Experience
  • Experience working in an Acute Care setting
  • Neuro Experience
  • Ortopedia
