Job Description:

As our Physical Therapist, you will help patients rebuild or maintain their physical wellbeing so they can function at their best level, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform initial evaluations
  • develop and update individualized plans of care
  • provide a variety of direct treatments
  • consistently meet patient care productivity standards
  • collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and families
  • promote a positive customer service environment
  • identify and report patient abuse and neglect
  • assist in annual performance reviews of therapy assistants and aides
  • accurately identify patient's functional deficits/dysfunction
  • effectively communicate with other members of the healthcare team
  • present at least one departmental or hospital inservice per year
  • terminate treatment appropriately when patient has met goals

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience
  • evidence of ability to function with a high degree of independence and competence
  • Physical Therapist: CA, upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
