The Outpatient Physical Therapy department at Sports Medicine Stratford is looking for a full time float physical therapist. Qualified applicants must have a strong focus on evidence-based practice, patient centered care, team communication and time management skills. Candidates will have the opportunity to collaborate and work alongside orthopedic surgeons and physicians working with musculoskeletal and sports related conditions.
Job Responsibility:
Provides patient care assessment and treatment
Maintains accurate patient documentation
Meets department financial and productivity standards
Participates in process management to optimize quality and efficiency of services
Promotes professional development and education of other health care workers and provides representation on committees
Supervises physical therapy and physical therapy assistant students
Communicates in a professional and timely manner with patients, physicians, staff, and all external customers
Provides appropriate patient care in accordance with age/developmental guidelines
Adheres to the general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment
Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited physical therapy school with a bachelor's degree
Current license to practice Physical Therapy in the State of North Carolina
CPR certification in Basic Life Support, Level C required
