Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Full-Time Premier Washington Rehabilitation & Nursing Center Join Our Growing Rehabilitation Team Premier Washington Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with therapists, nursing staff, physicians, residents, and families to deliver high-quality rehabilitative care that promotes mobility, independence, functional improvement, and enhanced quality of life. Job Responsibility

  • Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Implement individualized treatment programs designed to improve residents' mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and overall functional abilities
  • Monitor resident response to treatment and communicate progress, concerns, and recommendations to the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Accurately document treatments, resident responses, progress notes, and other required clinical information in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident care goals and discharge planning
  • Assist with resident education regarding treatment plans, safety techniques, mobility strategies, and functional goals
  • Maintain compliance with facility policies, professional standards, state regulations, and federal guidelines
  • Participate in care conferences and team meetings as appropriate
  • Ensure a safe and therapeutic treatment environment for all residents

Requirements

  • Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program required
  • Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of Pennsylvania in good standing
  • New graduates are welcome to apply
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team

Nice to have

  • CPR certification preferred
  • Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or post-acute settings preferred
  • Experience with Net Health documentation software preferred
  • Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred
