Job Description

Premier Washington Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a Full-Time PTA to join our in-house rehabilitation team. This is an outstanding opportunity to work alongside experienced therapists and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals in a skilled nursing and long-term care environment focused on helping residents achieve their highest level of independence and function.

Job Responsibility

Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
Assist residents in improving mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and overall functional independence
Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to supervising therapists
Complete timely and accurate documentation using Net Health
Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
Support residents in achieving their rehabilitation goals and maximizing quality of life

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Current Pennsylvania PTA License
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment
Skilled Nursing Facility and Long-Term Care experience preferred but not required
Passion for delivering exceptional resident-centered care

Maintains surveillance of environmental conditions as related to safety and infection control
Completes other and/or additional job related tasks as requested.
