Job Description:

We’re hiring a Physical Therapist for our Acute Care Rehab Department. This is a PRN opportunity located at Baptist Nassau in the Fernandina Beach area. We are looking for a Physical Therapist to join our Rehab Team at Baptist South. This position requires a candidate with experience working in an acute care setting, and previous experience in ortho and neuro care.

Job Responsibility:

  • Evaluates, plans, directs and administers physical therapy treatment to patients
  • Provides patient care to help improve or restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability
  • Oversees support staff
  • Participates in departmental operations and in performance improvement activities
  • Responsible for remaining within budget guidelines
  • Participates in mandatory education and licensure requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Less than 1 year Orthopedics experience
  • Neuro Experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
  • Licensed Physical Therapist Required

Nice to have:

Master's Degree
