The Physical Security Specialist role at NTT DATA requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in physical security, particularly in SCIF construction and inspections. Candidates must have a Top Secret Clearance and preferably a Bachelor's degree in a law enforcement discipline. Responsibilities include managing security measures, interpreting blueprints, and conducting risk assessments. This position is based in Washington, DC, and offers an opportunity to contribute to critical security projects.
Job Responsibility:
Provide the technical and functional activities at the contract level needed for program management of this effort
Demonstrate knowledge of Intelligence Community Department (ICD) 705 Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facility (SCIF) construction requirements and procedures through familiarity with the ICD 705 construction requirements, to include the mechanical and electrical requirements necessary to build a SCIF
Demonstrate general building construction expertise to include knowledge of electrical wiring, building methods, HVAC systems, and blueprint in order to implement ICD 705 requirements
Provide guidance related to Access Control, Intrusion detection systems, and defensive lock systems
Perform Physical Security inspections
Interpret blueprint construction drawings
Prepare Security Reports
Provide input and insight into creation of policies and standards
Conduct and develop comprehensive risk profiles across all dimensions of a facilities project located in the U.S and U.S territories
Demonstrate knowledge of Interagency Security Committee standards
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience providing Physical Security support to a military or civilian law enforcement agency, to include, performing Physical Security inspections, preparing Security Reports, and conducting and developing comprehensive risk profiles, to include: Experience interpreting blueprints and US Government Force Protection standards, guidelines, and best practices
Experience with general building construction, including electrical wiring, construction methods, HVAC systems, and blueprints to implement SCIF and Secure Area physical and technical security requirements
Top Secret Clearance
