Job Description:

We are IMMEDIATELY HIRING detail-oriented Physical Inventory Clerks to join our team in Waco, Texas. This is a long-term contract position within the paper and packaging industry, offering an opportunity to support a critical warehouse inventory project. The role involves inventory counting, data entry, and ensuring accuracy in stock assessments. Training will be provided.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct precise inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels
  • Enter inventory data into tracking systems with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth inventory operations and resolve discrepancies
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Participate in training sessions to understand project requirements and procedures
  • Use inventory tracking systems to monitor and report on stock movement
  • Assist in the preparation of inventory reports for management
  • Adhere to project timelines and meet daily operational goals
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding inventory issues

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in inventory management or related roles, such as assembly lines or asset tracking
  • Proficiency in using inventory tracking systems and data entry software
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical ability to stand and move around in a warehouse setting for extended periods
  • Reliable transportation to and from the job site
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Physical demands– Must possess mobility to work in a standard warehouse setting and work with and around a variety of equipment, parts, and inventory, strength, stamina, and mobility to perform medium physical work
