Job Description:

Ottawa Township High School has a Physical Education, Health, Driver’s Education Teacher position open for the 2026-27 school year. The position is open due to retirement. This high school operates on a seven-period day. This position will include teaching five periods a day, with one period of supervision, and one preparation period.

Job Responsibility:

Teaching five periods a day
One period of supervision
One preparation period
Potential extracurricular coaching/directing roles: Head Football Coach
Head Boys’ Track Coach
Head Girls’ Tennis Coach
Head Boys’ Basketball Coach
Head Boys’ Bowling Coach
Assistant Football Coach
Assistant Volleyball Coach
Assistant Wrestling Coach
Assistant Softball Coach (2 Positions)
Chess Coach
Scholastic Bowl Director
Speech Director

Requirements:

Must possess current IL Professional Educator License with proper endorsement
