Job Description:

Our client, a reputable secondary school in Speedwell, Bristol, is seeking a dedicated and experienced PE Teacher to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional looking to make a positive impact within a dynamic learning environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Physical Education lessons across Key Stages, including GCSE and A-Level. You will have the opportunity to inspire students to develop their physical talents and understanding of health and fitness. The role offers a supportive school environment with a focus on student engagement and achievement.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons across Key Stages, including GCSE and A-Level
  • inspire students to develop their physical talents and understanding of health and fitness
  • deliver engaging PE lessons that cater to a range of abilities and ages
  • assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • support the wider school community in promoting physical wellbeing and participation
  • contribute to the development of the PE curriculum and extracurricular activities

Requirements:

  • Hold a recognised teaching qualification (QTS or QTLS)
  • solid background in Physical Education
  • experience in teaching practical and theoretical components of PE, including GCSE and A-Level
  • additional subject expertise is beneficial but not a requirement
