Requirements:
An appropriate teaching qualification
Full registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland in the appropriate subject or eligibility and willingness to obtain registration
Ability to plan, deliver and develop a relevant and engaging curriculum
Strong classroom organisation and behaviour support skills
Ability to assess, track and report on pupil progress to inform learning and teaching
Ability to prepare pupils for qualifications and support their assessment where required
Actively contributing to the school community and it’s positive ethos
Ability to contribute to school improvement planning and self-evaluation
Commitment to ongoing professional learning and to supporting the development of colleagues including probationer and student teachers
