Job Responsibility

  • Plan and deliver varied physical education lessons and activities
  • Promote positive behaviour, teamwork, and sportsmanship
  • Support learners of differing abilities to achieve their potential
  • Assess performance and provide constructive feedback
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance extracurricular opportunities
  • Promote teamwork, resilience, and confidence while supporting physical wellbeing through structured, enjoyable lessons that build skills and positive attitudes toward fitness and participation

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to work effectively as a PE Teacher
  • Confident classroom and activity management skills
  • A clear understanding of safeguarding and student welfare
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • A strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
