The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance applications within an agile, hybrid work environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable backend features using Laravel
  • Participate in the architectural planning of new modules to support our expanding user base
  • Conduct code reviews and implement performance tuning to ensure low latency and high availability
  • Coordinate with front-end developers and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end technical solutions
  • Maintain rigorous technical documentation for all developed processes and system changes

Requirements

  • Expert-level knowledge of PHP (8.x) and the Laravel framework is mandatory
  • Well-versed in MVC architecture, Eloquent ORM, and Service Containers
  • Proficiency in relational database design and optimization using MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar
  • Extensive experience in developing and integrating RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
  • Professional experience with Git-based workflows (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket)
  • A working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript is required
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in backend development
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
  • Strong analytical problem-solving abilities and the discipline to manage tasks effectively in a hybrid work setting
