Job Description

Baptist Health is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse at Baptist Metro Square. This is a part-time day-shift opportunity working 24 hours per week during non-patient care hours. The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent communication skills, clinical judgment, professionalism, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Maintain medical documentation
  • Provide safe, evidence-based clinical support
  • Provide high-quality call center support by assessing symptoms, determining appropriate levels of care, documenting encounters, and assisting patients and families with clinical guidance
  • Demonstrating sound clinical judgment with accurate and thorough documentation of patient
  • Providing instructions to patients

  • Vocational Degree Required
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) Required
  • Licensed Practical Nurse Required

  • Recognizes and reports variances and provides resolutions in process improvement and quality improvement for the patient via multi-disciplinary team meetings or direct reporting of information to manager
