Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency or previous experience as a phlebotomist is required (2 years required)
Spanish Speaking preferred

Job Responsibility

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
Process billing information and collect payments when required
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
Maintain patient and specimen information logs
Provide superior customer service to all patients
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Assembling equipment such as: tourniquet, needles, disposable containers for needles, blood collection devices, gauze, cotton, and alcohol on work tray, according to requirements for specified tests or procedures
Performing other responsibilities as required, Work with and draw from a wide range patient cases in a confident manner
